AOC Alsace Argentoratum
Argentoratum is a dry blend, typical of the terroirs of the Couronne d’Or, Strasbourg’s historic vineyard.
Harvested from the Marlenberg’s finest terroirs, the grapes used to produce this blended wine are picked in two or three batches, to ensure optimum ripeness for each grape variety, then blended during vinification, with a small proportion aged in barrel. With its dry vinification and blending, Argentoratum is an ode to the city of Strasbourg and its winemaking past. Riesling is the main grape variety in this cuvée, supported by Pinot Gris as a secondary grape variety. A little Sylvaner, Gewurztraminer and Muscat support the balance of taste and aroma.
